The processing, arrangement, and description of the Town of Tomorrow and Home Building Center Souvenir Folder was completed in June 2016.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of plans and information about 15 demonstration houses in a model village at the 1939 World's Fair in New York. Each design has a brochure and each brochure includes perspective, floor plans, and a description of the house. Although numbered 1-21, with some numbers missing, these 15 brochures represent the whole set. One was designed by a woman, Verna Cook Salomonsky.
