Collection of mostly unrelated land papers from Eastern West Virginia counties. Ten items, dated between 1783 and 1848, include
grants, deeds, bonds, a power of attorney, and an appraisal of personal property. Land grants are to David White, Randolph
County, 1783; John Wise, Hampshire County, 1789; and William Ott, Pendleton County, 1838. Documents also record the sale of
land from Martin Wise to Jacob Judy, Pendleton County, 1825; George and Hannah Stultz to John Hoover, Hardy County, 1826;
and Jacob and Christina Judy to several persons, Hardy County, 1848.
