Culpeper County was formed in 1749 from Orange County.
Scope and Content
Records, 1783-1871, of Culpeper County consist of officials' bonds (1834, 1835), court papers related to judgments (1826, 1830, 1837), papers related to settlement of Ambrose Powell's estate (1791), a copy of Edward Leavell's will (1783), and a court order related to the probate of John P. Kelly's will (1871.)
