Scope and Contents

This collection consists of photocopies of items of Charles P. Stone and his family, including four letters, [1878]-1881, written while General Stone was chief of staff of the Egyptian army; a reprint of the diary of his daughter, Fanny Stone, kept in Cairo during the war of 1882; and obituaries of General Stone.
