Corporal in the 76th Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers, Company B, during the Civil War. Letter from Fisher written January 2, 1865, to his cousin Nancy Jane Cozard of Mercer County, Pennsylvania. Writes about an expedition to South Carolina his regiment made by sea where all the men had lice.
