The processing, arrangement, and description of the Edwin Talley Agricultural Quadrangle Drawings was completed in November 2006.
Biographical/Historical Note
The Alumni Association Board of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences commissioned Virginia artist B. Edwin Talley, Jr. to create pen and ink drawings of the six buildings that form the historic Agriculture Quad. The drawings were commissioned as a fund-raising project. Prints of these drawings are available for purchase through the Alumni Association with proceeds to benefit the Ag Alumni Scholarship Fund.
B. Edwin Talley, Jr. has been creating pen and ink drawings for more than thirty years. He started out executing local scenes with which he had a personal connection. Later he began doing more notable landmarks, such as the University of Virginia's Rotunda, University of Maryland's Memorial Chapel, and other commissions.
Scope and Content
B. Edwin Talley, Jr.’s six original pen and ink drawings depict the buildings of Virginia Tech’s Agriculture Quadrangle: Hutcheson, Price, Sandy, Seitz, Smyth, and Saunders. Each drawing is 10 inches x 13 inches.

The drawings ared arranged alphabetically by building title.
