These photographs were purchased from Crown Collectibles, Chesterfield, Virginia, on August 19, 2008.
Scope and Content
This collection consists of eighty-six photographs, ca. 1880s-1930s, of relatives and friends of the Dr. J.T. Glick family and the Cline family. The only dated photograph is of an infant, Jeraldine Koontz, 1928. Over half of the subjects are unidentified. Several may be of divinity students and graduates at [Eastern Mennonite College, Harrisonburg?] including the Rev. David Hoover, the Rev. A. B. Miller, the Rev. Minor Myers, the Rev. Howard Alley, and the Rev. Lun Wine. Other identified portraits include Dr. W. T. Sanger of Harrisonburg; the Reverend Wilbur Stover, pioneer Church of the Brethren missionary to India. The collection contains photographs from studios in Bridgewater, Harrisonburg, Roanoke, Staunton, especially Dean's Studio, Harrisonburg.

The photographs are grouped by studio and subarranged by whether or not the subjects are identified.
