This collection of John Wien Forney material contains a letter of introduction for Robert Shelton MacKenzie, dated October 17, 1865, from Forney to William Henry Seward and a clipping of an article by Forney on English country inns which appeared in The Press on August 10, 1867; date on clipping is September 26, 1867.
