Scope and Content Information
This letter was sent from Cornelius Mathews to Edward Moxon. Mathews asks the London publisher Moxon to participate in the publication of a series called "The Home Library," to be issued under the auspices of Wiley and Putnam in the United States. He quotes from the prospectus of the publication: "The Home Library will include new American copyright works, and the publication of new works of English writers by mutual arrangement with them and for their benefit, thus recognizing and so far as possible sustaining the rights of the foreign author." 3p.
