Scope and Contents

Collection of correspondence and handwritten research notes by Joann West pertaining to genealogy of families in northern West Virginia. Contains mostly letters addressed to Mrs. West requesting her services as a paid genealogy researcher; there are also copies of letters by Mrs. West asking others for genealogy information. Collection also contains genealogy charts made by Mrs. West. Includes detailed information (no more than a few pages) on the following names: Colonel James Paull, Conrad, Corley, Hamilton, Keith, Law, Merrifield, Miller, Morgan, Orr, Pinnell, Rhodes, Skidmore, Springer, Stickley, Stuart, Wilkenson, and Willey.
