Correspondence, letters, and papers of Thomas Haywood, a surveyor in Harrison County, West Virginia, and Luther Haymond, postmaster of Clarksburg, West Virginia, concerning inquries about land and land purchases in the surrounding areas. Letters are mostly related to business. Also Includes office warrants, surveys, plats, deeds, and a copy of a land grant signed by Patrick Henry.
