Abstract
World War II pilot survival packet for American pilots shot down in Europe. Includes two maps of western and eastern Europe respectively; two German Mark notes in denominations of one million and fifty million marks respectively each dated 1923; two foreign language phrase books, one for Croation, Serbo, Albanian, Greek, and Italian, and the other for French, Polish, Russian, and German; one small compass; six small sheets of blank paper; one metal bar wrapped in paper (1/2 in. x 4 in.); and waterproof carrying case (5 in. x 6 in.).
