Abstract
Four blueprint drawings of the Ephraim Walters Residence in Morgantown, West Virginia, by architect Elmer F. Jacobs, dated
March 20, 1900. Drawings of this Willey Street dwelling include: foundation and attic (size of drawing: 24'x18'), first and
second floors (21"x18"), west and rear elevations (30"x17"), and front and east elevations (32"x17"). Elmer F. Jacobs, a Preston
County native, came to Morgantown in 1894. He renovated High Street with Romanesque and Queen Anne Revival structures. By
the early 1900s he designed over 400 buildings in the downtown and nearby areas.
