The Sprague Electric Railway and Motor Company was founded in 1884 in New York by Frank J. Sprague, a former employee of Thomas Edison. Eventually the company merged into Edison General Electric, later becoming General Electric.
Scope and Content
The Sprague Electric Railway and Motor Company Records includes two diagrams for setting up Sprague Electric Motors, and two completed motor cards for automatic motors. The materials are undated.
