Obituary and eulogy regarding Ernest Lee Arbuckle and the Arbuckle family of western Virginia and West Virginia by R. Terry Butcher. The one page obituary describes
Arbuckle's personal and professional activities, including his Harvard Business School education, WWII service, and his work
as a banker in Gilmer County , West Virginia The four page eulogy discusses the genealogy of the Arbuckle family, tracing it from Scotland to Greenbrier
County , and the participation of family members in the Battle of Point Pleasant (1774), the Lewis and Clark Expedition (1804-1806),
the Battle of New Orleans (1815), and the First Seminole War (1818). James Harvey Arbuckle served the Confederacy and was
at Appomattox Court House when General Robert E. Lee surrendered; after the war he settled in Gilmer County .
