Biographical Information:
G. Louis Carner was a student at William & Mary from 1930-1934 and was enrolled in the Flight School during his time at the College.
Scope and Contents
This collection includes logbooks, pilot's handbooks, correspondence and papers related to William & Mary's Flight Club as well as the National Aeronautic Association and a pair of flight goggles that belonged to G. Louis Carner. The logbook provides information about each flight, including date, make of the plane, duration, destination, and any comments on the trip.

One certificate certifies that Carner has been awarded the Varsity Letter in Basketball Manager (1933/1934), and the other certifies his being awarded the Varsity Letter in Student Athletic Director (1933-1934-1935).
Includes clippings, ticket stub from an aviation-related event in 1934, a pencil drawing of a propeller plan on the back of a name card for "Mr. Loening," an aviation-themed Christmas flyer from Earl and Helen Popp, and an item given by the Community Fund. The item is small with green text, titled "A Feather in your Cap for Service to your Community." Inside is a small green feather with more text regarding its significance.
