This collection contains a poster from World War I recruiting bakers and cooks. It likely dates from around 1917 from New York City. The poster includes the note "Wanted 500 Bakers for the U.S. Army also 100 Cooks. A Baker Co. consists of 61 Men so you and your pals can join the same Unit. Bakers pay $33.00 to $45.00 per month Cooks $38.00 per month."
