Amherst County (Va.) Deed Used as Evidence in the Case Burkes v. Millen, 1824. The deed documents the sale of 287 and a quarter acres of land on the waters of Millers Creek from Ambrose Rucker and his wife Betsey to John Miller and David Edley. The land was sold to satisfy various debts.
