Scope and Content Information
Pertains mainly to Robert Bolling (1646-1709) of England and Virginia and his descendants. Includes a genealogical chart, lists of slaves belonging to John Bolling in 1711 and Anne Bolling in 1709, and a document certifying the number of inhabitants in Charles City County in 1699. Other allied families mentioned include Rolfe and Stith.
All of the items were handwritten in a copy of John Purvis' A Complete Collection of All the Laws of Virginia Now in Force (1682), housed in Special Collections at the Library of Virginia.
