Alexander Henderson was the father of Richard H. Henderson of Leesville and General Archibald Henderson of the Marine Corps.
Scope and Content
The first six pages of this book describe Alexander Henderson's journey from Dumfries, Virginia to New York and back to Philadelphia. Mileage is noted along with general observations regarding land prices and potential for profit. The final pages of the book are inverted and list expenses and more mileage.
