Laws pass ed include acts to divide Fincastle County into Kentucky, Washington, and Montgomery counties, Fincastle becoming extinct, and to form Henry County from part of Pittsylvania. |Tho mas! Jefferson has proposed that the seat of government be moved from Williamsburg to Richmond; the people of Williamsburg are in fear of enemy attack. Measures are being taken to assure that delegates attend the sessions, as attendance has been very poor. Is trying t o sell William's tobacco, perhaps to {Carter} Braxton or {John} Norton.
