Scope and Contents

Letters written to Vinda Elizabeth Kibler, also called Kitty, between 1917-1924 while she was at Bridgewater College and later at the  State Teacher's College in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Most letters are from her mother in Woodville, VA, and often included a separate note from her father or other relatives. Also included are  two letters from a pen pal in France. The following information has been provided by the seller: "Topics of the letter are church happenings, neighbors, health, garden, chickens, cats, horses. Father reports on his farm work, weather, crops, apples, animals, concern for his daughter."
