Donated by Mary B. Kegley in 2009; part of the Mary B. Kegley Collection.
Phyllis Morehead Umberger, the daughter of Dr. Robert C. Morehead and Julia Owens Morehead, was born 3 July 1925 in Wytheville,
Virginia. She married Dan F. Umberger and had two sons, Jonathan Guy Umberger and James L. Coen Jr. She was a member of Holy
Trinity Lutheran Church and a art teacher. She died 11 July 2009 in Wytheville and is buried at St. John's Lutheran Church
Cemetery.
The collection consists of four pen and ink drawings on board, commissioned by Mary B. Kegley, probably in the 1970s.
