Scope and Content

Two letters on one sheet of paper. First letter written December 24, 1861, from B. K. to his brother. Hopes to get a letter through to Nashville and then to Texas. Second letter from J. W. Hughes to unknown from Hopkinsville, Kentucky, written January 21, 1862, acknowledging receipt of the letter. Transcript available.
