Biographical note

Horatio Seymour Stahl graduated from Virginia Tech in 1907. He taught Botany and Biology at Virginia Polytechnic Institute from 1908-1934.

Scope and Content note

The collection consists of papers and university ephemera, including radio talks (1931-34, n.d.) on plant topics, two Virginia Tech Commencement guides (1933), a list of students by year (n.d.), and a tribute to C.L. Stahl (brother?) from the Virginia Dairy Products Association (1937). The collection also includes notebook of the business transactions of W.C. Stahl written by H.S. Stahl, and "Autobiography of a Ring" by Annie Stahl.
