Scope and Content Information
Letters, 1852, 1855, and 1871, from Susan Bogert Warner to various recipients concern invitations to visit. An undated letter mentions an entertainment event.
In a letter dated August 1875, 1875, Warner asks the reader if he gets any good from her books besides pleasure; writes to show that one thing surpasses all others so readers may not miss it; notes God gives glory, honor and immortality; and, explains that to love Christ one must know Him by three specific efforts. She also wishes the reader to know joy, rest and hope she experiences as a servant of Jesus who never neglects anything entrusted to him.
