This collection was purchased by the Library from Goodspeed's Book Shop, Boston, Ma., on October 21, 1965.
Scope and Content Information
In a letter dated December 29, 1870, Susan Bogert Warner writes to George P. Putnam requesting the sale of Washington pictures and granting a commission. She adds that she needs money and wants communication about the purchaser unless the price is so good that acceptance is assured.
