These items were given to the University of Virginia Library by Dr. E.A. Kincaid, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia, on June 1, 1947.

Scope and Content Information

This collection consists of ca. 300 items (1 Hollinger box), 1935-1936, correspondence, travel vouchers, news clippings, minutes, reports, statements by C.C. Louderback and Thomas C. Boushall before the Banking Sub-committee, and drafts of the proposed bill with changes and amendments, relating to the revision of the banking laws of Virginia, culminating in the Act of 1936, The Banking Code or the Virginia Banking Act. The correspondence is largely between E.A. Kincaid, as a member of the Banking Sub-committee of the Governor's Legislative Advisory Council, and bankers or officials of the government of Virginia.
