In a series of letters, 1847-1849, James Fenimore Cooper writes to John Fagan, stereotyper, regarding financial matters and his books, The Crater, The Pilot, The Red Rover, The Sea Lions, The Spy, and The Way of the Hour. In a letter, 1850 December 3, Cooper, Broadway Hotel, New York City, writes to C.H. Morse, Boston, regarding his daughter, Susan Fenimore Cooper and her book Rural Hours.
