This collection contains one letter, ALS, dated 1871 April 19, from Helen Hunt Jackson, Newport, [Rhode Island], to J.R. Osgood & Co., acknowledging a package of books for her to review, stating that Colonel [Thomas Wentworth] Higginson advised her to advertise her latest book and include critical comments, and stating that she would ask Dr. [Edward] Eggleston for an editorial note, 4 p. on 1 l.
