Richard Nixon's Letter to Hugh Scott with Scott's Reply, Accession #10200-r, University of Virginia Library, Charlottesville, Va.
These letters were given to the Library by Hugh Scott on 8 November 1983.
Former President Richard Nixon's autographed typed letter, 1983 October 10, to former Senator Hugh Scott of Pennsylvania, originally accompanied a gift copy of a privately printed limited edition of Nixon's Real Peace: a Strategy for the West .
Scott's reply, 1983 October 21, thanks Nixon for the book and says Scott had just finished rereading Nixon's Leaders. Scott lists Churchill, Gandhi, Chou En-lai, Hu Shih, and Adenauer as the greatest 20th century leaders from other countries.
