Scope and Content

These letters and related materials consisting of seven items, 1982 and 1987, were generated by Edward Lay through his research concerning a local architect, Benjamin Charles Baker (? -1955) of " Rosemont , " Albemarle County, Virginia .

The collection also includes notes taken during a telephone conversation with Henderson Heyward on June 25, 1987, concerning Henderson Heyward, William L. Bottomley , Alfred Llorens , and Charley Baker.
