These items were given to the Library by Matthew J. Bruccoli, Bruccoli Clark Laymen, Inc., Columbia, South Carolina, on March 25, 1993.

Scope and Content Information

This addition to the Joseph M. Bruccoli Great War Collection consists of two items, 1918 and 1964, a "Soldier's Mail" postal card, 1918 June 16, from L.H. Edwards to his wife, Mrs. L.H. Edwards, Appalachia, Virginia, mailed from Newport News, announcing his safe arrival overseas; and a membership card, 1964 October 1, for the year 1965 in the Gun Hill Post #271, Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, card #960, issued to Joseph M. Bruccoli.
