This sketchbook was given to the Library by Glenn Horowitz, New York, New York, through Matthew Bruccoli of Columbia, South Carolina, on September 4, 1991.
Scope and Content Information
This addition to the Joseph M. Bruccoli Great War Collection consists of a bound sketchbook, 1915-1916, ca. 90 leaves, most of which contain charcoal, pencil, pen-and-ink, and watercolor drawings and sketches of people and scenes of the area around Loos, France, drawn by D. C[olles] Bird.
