Scope amd Content

This collection contains 53 items, 1971(1992-1993), pertaining to Wythe County and the local families of Graham , Tate , and Sanders . There is biographical information on Agnes Graham (Sanders) and Herbert Parkes Riley and Andrew Trigg Sanders and Friel Tate Sanders ; related material concerns C. B. Tate and William Tate . There is also an essay, "Three Dreams" published by Martha Peirce McGavock , grandaughter of David Graham . In addition, there are papers, chiefly printed and newspaper clippings, concerning various places and events in Wythe County, Virginia , including: Anchor of Hope Presbyterian Church , Max Meadows 200th Anniversary Celebration; Sketches (stationary and postcard) of scenes in Wythe and other counties; and, the Wall of Honor Dedication, Withers Park, Wytheville .
