Scope and Content

The Public Health Collection contains public health flyers, publications, handouts, and other materials published between 1945-55. Individual items in this four box collection include clippings about topics such as Arthritis from 1949-1953, a booklet entitled So - You are going to drive, and a sectional diagram of the human ear. Also included are a 1954 Health Bulletin titled Sanitary Landfill, Sanitation Training Courses, Tuberculosis Control, Your Family Physician and articles about marriage which include an article entitled The Vice Nobody Talks About .

Topics covered in this collection include marriage, infant care, therapy, nutrition, physical activity, heart, first aid, cheerleading, athletics, arthitis, eyes and ears and cancer. For the full inventory, again, see the link in the abstract.
