Shirley Mittleman Clifford was born June 2, 1923, in Philedelphia, Pennsylvania, and lived until November 20, 1997. Clifford served in the United States Marine Corps in the Women's Reserve from 1943-1945. In the collection, her Certificate of Registration stated that her occupation was housewife.
This collection contains a number of correspondence between Shirley Clifford and her family while she was living in United Kingdom. This collection also contains various financial and legal documents belonging to Clifford and her husband. Also in this collection is a menu and program from the Stoney Susser College May Week Ball.
