Eleven years of diaries of James Howard Patterson, a Glen Roy, Ohio, teacher. Describes weather, daily school routines and
lessons, and general affairs of his personal and social life. Diaries are for years 1904, 1911, 1913, 1921, 1926, 1928, 1929,
1931, 1938, and 1944.

James Howard Patterson, a noted educator in the Morgantown area, authored "Of Me I Sing: or, Me, and Education" in 1940.
The book is autobiographical and explains Patterson's ideas about education. He died in Morgantown on April 12, 1949.
