Biographical / Historical

Evelyn Ryan was a reporter for The Dominion Post for 45 years from 1968 until her retirement in 2013. Evelyn was a charter member and the recording secretary for WV Press Women, a subdivision of the National Federation of Press Women, established in 1972. She is a multi-award winning reporter and writer, having won many writing contests held by the Press Women. Evelyn was also an activist for women in journalism.
