Correspondence of the 1924 Democratic presidential nominee; draft of a speech on legislative power; tickets to the Democratic
National Convention in New York; and a poem concerning Davis' candidacy for president in 1924. Correspondence is between Davis
and his nephew, John J.D. Preston, of Charleston. Subjects mentioned include politics, World War II, Davis' law practice,
and family matters.
