Abstract
Parchment land grants. Two grants to Jacob Warrick for 967 and 596 acres on Bath County, Va., signed by James Monroe and James Wood in 1798 and 1802. One grant to Sampson Lockhart Matthews, assignee of Sampson Matthews, for 444 acres in Pocahontas County, Va., signed by John Tyler in 1826. Grant to James Kelso, assignee of Thomas Anderson, for 480 acres in Augusta County, Va., signed by Robert Brooke in 1795. One deed from James A. McCue, executor of Andrew G. Gatewood, to Jacob W. And Andrew G. Matthews for 486 acres in Pocahontas County, dated 1836. And the House of Warick. 1740.
