Abstract
Letter from Mr. E.L. Armstrong, Richmond, to Mr. Sandford Swigen, Clarksburg (West) Virginia, 1841. The letter includes a manuscript transcription (from 1841) of a 1786 land grant or indenture for Hezekiah Davisson, assignee of Robert Lewis Jun, for a tract of land in Harrison County, (West) Virginia. The grant was approved by Patrick Henry, Governor of Virginia.
