Abstract
Three photographs and biographical material regarding Chesney MacCauley Ramage, a native of West Milford, West Virginia. After
graduating from Fairmont High School (in 1900) and West Virginia University (WVU), he attended John Hopkins University Medical
School in Baltimore. He then returned to Fairmont and established a surgical practice, becoming the superintendent and chief
surgeon at the Miners' Hospital (Fairmont Emergency Hospital). Photographs include graduating glass of Fairmont High School
(1900), Chesney building a hunting lodge (ca. 1904), the WVU Men's Glee Club (ca. 1906 or 1907), and hunting lodge (ca. 1904).
