This collection contains miscellaneous records regarding the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, Cass Railroad, and other railroads. Types of records include newspapers and news clippings, calendars, and ephemera.
Folder 1 contains material regarding the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, including a scrapbook of clippings regarding end of service (1957-1958); photocopy of article titled "Where 65 Cars Still Make a Train" (1960); photocopy of article titled "When the B&O Took the Coal & Coke Over" (1974); two Baltimore and Ohio calendars (1977-1978); and ephemera, including small calendar (1954), schedule (1957), and business card (undated).
Folder 2 contains a copy of "The Cass Chronicle" which includes an article regarding the history of the Cass Scenic Railroad and a photocopy of the same (1976).
Folder 3 contains material regarding miscellaneous railroads, including a photocopy of an article from the West Virginia Review titled "West Virginia has World's Biggest Locomotive" (1932); a business memorandum regarding train dispatchers in the vicinity of Grafton, West Virginia and a photocopy of same (1941); a typescript of an interview with Willie Sanders regarding construction and legends of the local railroad (1970); and an advertisement for a "Vulcan B" Railroad Torch (undated).
