William Jackson Humphreys was a member of the Washington and Lee University class of 1886 and later worked as a physicist.

Scope and Contents

This collection consists of a letter from William Jackson Humphreys written to Dr. Leslie L. Campbell. In the letter Humphreys gives an account of his time at Washington and Lee Univeristy. He mentions studies, dating, and nicknames of friends and professors.
