Biographical Note
George Marvin (1873-1955) was a writer, Harvard graduate, world traveler, solider, and government employee. He married Agnes Dillon Randolph Hill (1898-1977) in 1925, and they had no children on record.

Scope and Content
The George Marvin Papers include a scrapbook, letters, photographs, postcards, newspaper clippings, and envelopes. The contents pertain to Marvin's time serving during World War I, in addition to his time in China, Japan, and the Balkan states. It also covers his time in various states in America, including his time at Harvard. He recieved his BA from Harvard in 1899.
