This collection lists the decendants of Samuel Dishman (Duchemin). Samuel Dishman was a 17th century immigrant to the Northern Neck of Virginia.Samuel Dishman immigrated sometime between 1687 and 1693 and was a French Huguenot from around Normandy. Samuel immigrated with his brother, Isaac Duchemin, and the two both purchased land in Westmoreland County, Virginia.

This collection contains a genealogy chart for the Dishman family of King George and Westmoreland counties, Virginia, originating in France (as Duchemin). The chart lists the decendants of Samuel Dishman, who immigrated to the American Colonies from France sometime before 1693. The chart was compiled by James Dallas Dishman of Lynchburg, Virginia.
