This collection was a gift of Vesta Gordon to the Small Special Collections Library at the University of Virginia on March 23, 2015.

This collection was originally part of MSS 15911, a group of various Virginia items dating from 1888 to 1944, including a Bob Goodman scrapbook; Virginia and Confederate States of America currency; a Mary Ella Parker Berkeley carte-de-visite; a G. F. Holland letter, a Bridgewater letter, a Samuel Hannah letter; a printed menu card from the Southern Philatelic Association convention; and a printed broadside, captioned "Private stock" humorously describing the labeling on a bottle of alcohol.
