This collection was a gift of Vesta Gordon to the Small Special Collections Library at the University of Virginia on March 23, 2015.

This item was originally in a collection of Virginia miscellany MSS 15911(dated 1888-1944)that has been separated into MSS 16317, 16318, 16330, 16332, 16343, 16344, and 16345. The collections include a Dabney Stewart previous hit Lancaster guest book; a Bob Goodman scrapbook; Virginia and Confederate States of America currency; Mary Ella Parker Berkeley carte de visite, a Samuel Hannah letter; a printed menu card from the Southern Philatelic Association convention; a G.F. Holland letter; and a printed broadside, captioned "Private stock" humorously describing the labeling on a bottle of alcohol.

Justus E. Glick letter, 0.03 cubic feet, dated May 14,1923, from a student to Justus E. Glick at the University of Virginia. The student describes having to take care of her mother, study for classes, clean the house and asks him about friends and examinations.
