These records consist of the maps and photographs made of prospective mining sites. In accordance with state and federal laws,
a permit must be issued before mining can occur. This series documents that a mining operator has applied for a permit. Also
includes maps and photographs for released permits, released bond forfeiture permits and closed unpermitted sites.
